BACKGROUND.

Like many young boys growing up I was fascinated with sports, I still am, and probably always will be. Basketball stuck out in particular. I had trouble sleeping since I was a young boy and there was one team that was always on in the late night slot, the Los Angeles Lakers. I began watching as they won 3 championships in a row led by their coach Phil Jackson “The Zen Master”. Though I didn’t realize it at the time Coach Jackson began sowing the seeds of my interest in mindfulness and sport performance.

EDUCATION.

I completed my Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology at the University of Regina. Growing up in Regina I knew I needed to diversify my experiences, so I attended a world premier program at Cardiff Metropolitan University for my Master’s in Sport Psychology. I decided to take what I learned and bring it back home. I began my Doctoral program in Sport Psychology at the University of Regina with a specialization in mindfulness.

TRAINING WITH ME.

I have been practicing and studying yoga and mindfulness for over 12 years. I take a personalized approach with everyone; though I specialize in mindfulness, it is not a practice for everyone.
